AS SOON AS I HEARD FREE THE B-SIDE I KNEW WHICH DIRECTION THE ALBUM WOULD BE LEANING TOWARDS. A REAL SHIFT BACK TO SOME GREAT REWARD DAYS IN PLACES ( LILLIAN) WHICH IS A FAVOURITE OF MINE. SUFFER WELL IS TRULY GREAT AND JOHN THE REVELATOR IS AWESOME. VERY DARK,VERY WARM SOUNDING AND EXACTLY HOW I HAD HOPED IT WOULD SOUND. PRECIOUS IS GREAT TOO BUT SEEMS LIKE THE ODD ONE OUT HERE. CAN'T WAIT TO BUY IT MONDAY AND LOSE MYSELF IN IT FOREVER. OFF TO SEE MODE IN MARCH AT N.E.C TOO!

But this is up there with Violator, Suffer well is the key track for me, dave gahan proving he can write top tunes! I think Depeche Mode have come back with the best album to date!
