Ads

I hate pop up ads. And now there's new pop up programs that can get around the blockers.

And I'd also like to put in a write-in vote for viruses on web sites.

And I'm friggin glad someone can't do that dumbass cliche 'first' thing. HA!

RE: Ads

hey, ads are good...without ads, oddtodd.com might not exsist, and a lot of other cool little sites wouldnt exsist. how do u think the internet provides a wealth of free info? people are stupid enough to put it all up for free? well...partly! but also partly because the ads cover the cost. im glad that i can pay for the ability to see info on virtually any topic i want, just by dealing with a little flashing rectangle above what im reading (and about 70%(flash based banners account for the other 30%, those cant be removed...yet) of the time, adblock can fix that for me...hehehe...). just try to realize that u would rather see ads then see a "enter credit card info below for access!"

RE: Ads

It is kind of like watching television...we pay for the cable, but we still have to expect that there are going to be commercials interupting the programming...and the same with radio, heck, there are even advertisements at the college games between the plays...

RE: Ads

It could be as bad as commercials. Take this scenario you're in the middle of writing up a reply on OddTodd about how dumb James is and then BOOM! You're switched to a commercial about tampons.

RE: Ads

internet ads are way better than tv ads. u can ignore internet ads. a little banner telling me how much i want a xbox360 next to what im reading isnt nearly as annoying as 3 minutes of non-skippable ads on a variety of topics in the middle of a show

RE: Ads

that's probably a tape worm or parasite of some kind. This is what I do when that happens: first I fuck my ass with a dildo until the hole is wide open, then I lay down, raise my legs in the air, and pour rubbing alcohol down the hole. It totally works butit hurts like hell.

RE: Ads

to get stuff back from adblock, go into tools>adblock>preferences, and hopefully whatever u blocked will be right at the bottom. if u blocked it before u might have to experement.
