It is good enough

I believe marketing is right this time. I don't think the majority of people who are buying a Treo know what push email is or how Streaming music from a Treo works. Those are advance powerful features that are hard to understand for regular users. Too much details on advertisement would make the Treo less appealing. Take a look at the Ipod they only focus on design than features.

Believe it or not, but most of the people in the target market don't have Gmail or don't use it enough to matter. Only a small fraction of a percent of people do. The rest couldn't care less.

This is another example of how posters to sites like this are out of touch with reality. If we ran the marketing campaign, nobody would buy a Treo.

You people are crazy

The ad is fine. It gets its point across. The vast majority of potential buyers aren't technogeeks who want to know the minutiae of what can be done with a Treo. They want to know the basics. And this does the trick.

Come on, at least show a full-frame video running on the gorgeous screen! Or how about push-syncing to GMail, etc.
