Posted By: GirlUWant Posted On: Nov 13, 2005 Views: 1199 | RE: Crying baby What is really bad, is if you are the mother of the crying baby! The pressure really hurts their ears and you just can't do anything to make them happy. I flew with my daughter when she was six weeks old and it was hell. ...oh, an apologies to anyone that had to endure that flight with me, probably not any of you, because half of you probably weren't even born yet, or were annoying babies yourself and wouldn't have cared! |
Posted By: weeze Posted On: Nov 13, 2005 Views: 1196 | RE: Crying baby it would not annoy me as muchas others because it is not intentional! |

Posted By: green Posted On: Nov 13, 2005 Views: 1191 | RE: Crying baby yeah, i dont mind it so much because i feel sorry for the baby and mom. |
Posted By: comfortably_numb Posted On: Nov 13, 2005 Views: 1188 | RE: Crying baby Yeah, it's not the baby's fault, but it's annoying as f*ck. And it makes it even worse because since the baby can't help it, you can't do anything about it like telling some drunk guy to shut the hell up, or dropping the tray table several times to annoy the jerk that pushed his seat all the way back. So no, it's not his fault, but the poll asks what annoys you the most; to me, it's a freaking nightmare if a baby cries during flight. |
Posted By: Kali Posted On: Nov 13, 2005 Views: 1183 | RE: Crying baby Benedryll before the flight will help with the ear thing...that and a bottle. Travelled with my three when they were little and it worked like a charm. |
Posted By: tomb Posted On: Nov 13, 2005 Views: 1171 | RE: Crying baby you give benedryll to babies? |
Posted By: Bakakage Posted On: Nov 13, 2005 Views: 1144 | RE: Crying baby Lots of people do actually. in small doses it helps lightly sedate them for trips. unless you fly all the time it wont hurt the kid. |
Posted By: adam Posted On: Nov 14, 2005 Views: 1135 | RE: Crying baby i would just boot up some Black Tar into my kids and see how that works...and if they turn blue and attract ants, then ill know ive given them too much |
Posted By: theo Posted On: Nov 14, 2005 Views: 1129 | RE: Crying baby How about just duct-taping their mouth shut and tying their hands behind their back?? seems healthier than this benedryll stuff or tar |
Posted By: doodymin Posted On: Nov 14, 2005 Views: 1106 | RE: Crying baby Those things make me want to hang myself. and if you guys think it's only a friggin' baby they can't help it you're right but you know that deep in your heart that you wanna feed them to the gremlin on the wing of the ship. and FYI I was one of those crying babies once! so dont give me any crap about how sick and twisted I am! |
Posted By: Bakakage Posted On: Nov 14, 2005 Views: 1103 | RE: Crying baby "this benadryl stuff"? Its an over the counter anti-allergy medication that can cause some drowsiness. thats why it works on babies on trips, it keeps them from being so fussy cuz they would rather sleep. |
Posted By: ttt Posted On: Nov 14, 2005 Views: 1101 | RE: Crying baby when I cried my parents gave me a sip of whiskey. then they splashed it on my face and lit it. |
Posted By: Q-tip Posted On: Nov 15, 2005 Views: 1053 | RE: Crying baby What is the worst is when you are in a public place like a movie theater and the baby starts crying, and, refusing to takethe baby outside, the mother just (in public) drops her boob in the baby's face. And the baby continues to cry. |
