Last week I had to put down one of the hogs because it got the avian flu and it reminded me of you. I cant hardly pick up an axe or a knitting needle without thinking of you and laughing. Man we had some fun! Thank god they don't know what DNA is around here. What are you doing for Thanksgiving this year? I'm going over to ma's house but you know that is always trouble. I wish just once we could have a family get together that doesn't end with a call to the coroner. My wounds from our last get-together on Flag Day haven't fully healed. Are you still writing? I started working on a book. Actually it is more of a manifesto. I have to learn to pace myself. Last time I did some writing I drained a little too much blood for the ink and passed out 15 minutes into it. Screwed up my whole train of thought. The kids are growing like weeds. Our youngest is a spitting image of my sister. She has that same temper as her ma, too. Well, gotta go. JB is dropping off a bunch of cement blocks for the front yard. |
