The Beatles

If they were still all alive and well... They would be worth it just for "Birthday", great song.

RE: The Beatles

beatles would definitly be the best bet for "birthday" song, and let them play "i am the walrus" while they r at it. funny song and im almost positive its about drugs.

RE: The Beatles

I doubt it's about drugs. I'm pretty sure it isn't about anything. It could be argued that it's about drugs, although I've heard that there was some professor who analyzed Beatles songs as part of his class, so John Lennon wrote I Am The Walrus, a song completely devoid of any kind of meaning and therefore impossible to interpret. I'm inclined to believe the latter.
Day Tripper and Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds are both about LSD though. Paul McCartney has publicly stated that Day Tripper is about LSD. When someone asked John if LITSWD was about LSD, he carefully evaded the question by responding that it was inspired by a picture that his son drew (which was true) but did not say what it was about. However, if you look at the main words of the title, it is rather obvious: L "Lucy" S "Sky" D "Diamonds"

For those interested, here is the picture:

RE: The Beatles

Change "It could be argued that it's about drugs" to "It could be argued that it was inspired by drugs".
I'm rather tired from all that eating.
