I grew up in Birmingham, AL and they were around all my life. In fact, we used to sell them door to door to raise money for things like school projects and the scouts and such. Seventy cents a box. You took orders for several days and told the people when you would deliver them. And I was pretty good at selling them too. I admit, they are, in my rather biased opinion, the best doughnuts, especially when still hot. But they are also just a part of my life. Of course, I AM glad that they are available everywhere. I live in San Francisco now, and I would hate to have to do without them. |

Just because you had a bad experience don't mean that everyone else has. You are entitled to your on opinion but you could've kept that one to yourself. And maybe where you live they don't deliver fresh doughnuts everyday at the stores there but here in Tennessee where I live they are delivered fresh daily. kk are the best dougnuts in the world other than little debbies doughnuts. |
