Edmonton Oilers

The Edmonton Oilers will be the first to aquire a goaltender. With the Oilers carrying eight defencemen, something's gotta give. Either MA Bergeron, Steve Staios or even Jason Smith will be used as trade bait.

If you want a prediction of who I think it's going to be, there are a few guys. I think as time passes by, even though Olaf wants to stay, that he will be dealt. If not I look for Dwayne Roloson's name to pop up, however the two teams are in the same division and that may make or break a deal.

CANUCKS SUCK

The Vancouver Canucks are the most overrated team in the league. The last three seasons with supposedly the best "core" players in the league and they couldn't win the cup, then they boast "the new nhl ruled were made for us" and they can't beat teams like Columbus, St.Louis and any other team that can't string a two game winning streak together. Don't get your hopes up Canuck fans, you won't win the stanley cup with this group of "Club Medders".

The Habs

now listen 2 me... the habs r doing terrible they were doin amazing but now there doin worst then the trashers and devils! they gotta make trades like ribeiro... theo... ribeiro didnt score 4 like 29 games! theo is just having a lot of off games but maybe they should give theo another chance!... but ribeiro is juss a have 2 trade player! We need 2 get bertuzzi 4 theo or reibeiro 4 tanguay. Also Huet is making theodore look bad after those 2 last games huet let in 3 goals out of 80 shots now thats damn good, but if they trade theo 4 a player they cant have huet has starting goalie hes not capable, and Bob Gainey should be making some good trades!

So thats what my call is!

MONTREAL CANADIEN

holey cow... Poor Bob Gainey. I'd rather stay in my confortable laisy boy and look at that uful year that the team are strugling around since november. Has a habs fan, I can't imagine how that team can be so miserable to watch. The players are just waiting for a change and Bob can't get the message. I'm not saying that they have to clean the team or making a big trade, but they have to do something right now. The calender of the next few weeks will be very hard for that team playing with no confidance and no hart ether. But the solution is not that simple. What kind of players are interesting other organisation and what MTL will get for the players that they want to trade??? I thing that a lot of fans in Montreal are dreaming about Bertuzzi, Morrisson, Tanguay and Biron... So taht's the reason why I'm saying that I rather in my chair than be in Bob's situation... By the way, I will say that the only thing MTL can get is a second line player for the best valuable player in there team that is Théodore...

Tanks for reading me and I'm sorry about my writting, I'm a french man!!!

Pretty Even

yes, thornton is a great player, but in exchange the bruins got three very good players in return, all which contributed very soon in the first game they played for the bruins as they got a win. I call this trade pretty even

Andrew....

lol nj will not take down philly, you've got to be out of your mind. they can NOT stop forsberg/gagne/knuble, they just cant. brodeur is one of my all time favorite goalies, but the new NHL brings no trap, and no stevens. brodeur is an amazing goalie, but the system in which he played and the teammates he had propelled his stats. this year is the tell tale year. great goalie, but not enough. devils wont even make the playoffs.
