| Posted By: Boubear Posted On: Feb 12, 2007 Views: 1303 | League vs Union. Union is just a waste of good rugby league players. I played union for 5 years and league at the same time. After a game of union I still had plenty of energy because I hardly had to make a tackle or get enough ball to have a decent running game. Most times I got the ball I had to kick it. But after a League game I could barley stand I was so exusted from running and tackleing. Why is league better? Whats better to watch.....running and tackleing (which is what league is) or kicking line outs and rucking (which is what union is more about). |

I will always support Rugby because of the All Blacks and the fact that the Super 14 is 'happening' now and as long as they don't go back to a whole game of kicking the ball we will be sweet! BUT, I also love League because my boys play. I just hate the refereeing!!! Let's be honest here. If there is no league on the box then you are all quite happy to watch Union and vice versa. So let's just be happy that we are a country that has talent playing both and so we should support both. |
