| Posted By: Foxy Posted On: Nov 23, 2006 Views: 522 | MotM Well played to the Tatties last night -they look upfir the game...they had plenty of energy, passed the ball well and obviously scored everytime they got near our goal. We didnt waken up till we were 10 goals behind but good effort for trying to make a game of it. Anyway I could have voted for all of the Tatties last night as they all played well but went for Stu. Thought he lead the line well, laid off numerous pass to his teammates and also scored a few as well. |
| Posted By: neil Posted On: Nov 23, 2006 Views: 519 | True grit Unaccountably good performance from the Tats last night. Looking at the teams I didn't see any reason why it shouldn't have been a close game last night. Perhaps it was just luck then that got us all up for it, or maybe it was Gordon's John-Waynesque captain's performance. Whatever the reason wur team played well. Kyle's runs and shots were devastating, Stuart was sharp as table-topper ought to be, and Luca's debut was solid in midfield with the added bonus of a couple of belters when he came forward. But Gordon linked it all together and drove it forward. He got us off our horses and made us drink our gaddam milk. |
| Posted By: stuart Posted On: Nov 23, 2006 Views: 511 | motm we started the game really well and got a huge lead which really killed the game. only when our finishing and marking got a bit slack did the mince threaten a mini-comeback!! could have gone for gordo, luca or kyle but felt that wee neily had his best match for a while with plenty of running, tackles and the odd shot too. |
| Posted By: Gordo Posted On: Nov 23, 2006 Views: 484 | MOTM Good performance from the tatts last night I thought, taking control early in the game and building a convincing lead. The mincers stopped mincing around and got their act together towards the end of the game, banging in a few, however, the lead proved to be insurmountable and the tatts chalked up a comfortable win in the end. Tough call for MOTM last night, there were a good few performances from Kylie, who scored a barrowfull, Stuart who also scored a few and linked up well or Iain for his movement and guile. But head and shoulders above the above was Neil, who I thought was excellent last night. Well done son. |
| Posted By: Kylie Posted On: Nov 23, 2006 Views: 471 | MOTM Thought Gordo bossed it last night for us, some great performances and well done luca, very solid display. so Jon got the first pick did he??? and he didnt pick me! well i am very disappointed! in fact i would go as far as upset and hurt! ;-) I have no idea how many times i got megged last night. good job there was no money on it. foxy would have been a rich man! Iain too! |
| Posted By: Jon Boy Posted On: Nov 23, 2006 Views: 460 | FECK, ****E, ARSE There, there Kylee I've voted for you just to make you fell better. Totally gutted about last nights performance. Just wasn't happening for any of us. Will have to see what happens in the last two games, but I think the fairytale may well be over for Jon Boy for this season! BTW - don't tackle The boy Stu from behind. He don't like it one bit. I thought he was gonna thump me. It was a foul, but I was just trying my heart out to stop another goal going in! Sorry mate |
| Posted By: Luca Posted On: Nov 23, 2006 Views: 454 | motm totally enjoyed the game last night, it was great fun and winning the game is always a bonus. i voted for neil as motm, i thought he played really well. besides he was kind enough not to mention that most of my shots probably hit a few players a couple of pitches across from us... unexpectedly i managed to get out of bed this morning and walk to the office without being in too much pain. man, i am not as old as i thought. |
| Posted By: Bruiser Stu Posted On: Nov 23, 2006 Views: 424 | assault i was hoping to kick off another little barney there last night but sadly my shove on jon came to nothing. ever since craigo vs. the fox i have been awaiting the opportunity to display my own boxing credentials and i thought that jon trying to break my ankle would suffice - but it seems i’ll have to wait until next week. be warned people!! p.s. sorry jon. |
| Posted By: Iain Posted On: Nov 23, 2006 Views: 410 | Stoo Could have gone for Gordo but the man I found it hardest to play against last night was Stu. His finishing was (mostly) spot on and he set up his team mates for a lot of goals. Plus he had a decent spell in goals. Kyle ran well with the ball, Luca did himself proud and Neil was his usual terrier self, upsetting many of our attacks. An excellent all round team performance. Wankers. |
| Posted By: Karl Posted On: Nov 28, 2006 Views: 336 | Motm Couldn't vote last week so I'd forgotten who played well in the last game, but having just been 'fingered' by Iain for forgetting ;-) , my supressed memories of Stuart scoring umpteen goals, even under the pressure of possibly losing his POTY position, came back! I also hear the permutations have been calculated and Stu still hasn't cemented 1st place - bring on the next game! |
| Posted By: Alan Posted On: Nov 28, 2006 Views: 327 | MotM I've got very little memory of last week's match, except hobbling around for a while then going in goals for most of the game, and having loads of goals scored against. Like Karl I've been given a 'gentle reminder' of my responsibilities by Iain so I thought I'd better vote for someone. All the opposition played well, but Iseem to remember Gordo rallying the troops well, so I went for him. |
