Hi, I just found your journal and am enjoying it. The 7 year comment
you made was really interesting to me. I've been in my current town
(not terribly far from you, I am guessing, also in Wisconsin) for a year
and a half, and it is not home yet. The strange thing is, moving back
to Wisconsin was moving "home" for me. I grew up here, although not in
this particular town.
The difference was, I lived in another state for 6 years, and THAT was
home. I don't know if it was the length of time, or the circumstances
(spent most of my adult life there, was in grad school, etc) that made
it home, but it was. Although I'm glad to be in Wisconsin now, I still
sorely miss that other place.
