My daughter (who is 3 1/2) does NOT like to be left alone, but my best friend's daughter (only 2 months younger) very firmly tells her mother quite often that she wants to play ALONE NOW, please, Mommy, GO 'WAY. And even mine has started, in the last couple of months, to be able to play alone occasionally. Gabe'll get there.
