Posted By: jennifer and the beans Posted On: Dec 15, 2006 Views: 1205 | My childhood favorite A Christmas Carol -- the Alastair Sim version. The only one that's true to the book and doesn't de-Anglicize the words, and Sim's scrooge will always be the definitive one. His transformation at the end is fantastic!! (A Christmas Story didn't come out until I was 13, so that didn't figure into my childhood. We love it now like crazycakes, though.) |
