| Posted By: Vincent Posted On: Mar 6 Views: 223 | Carbon vs Wood I only been playing violin for about 3 years. I have a very nice instrument in terms of sound. When I was auditioning bows I prefer Carbon for it's weight and performence. The first bow I bought was a Coda Colours which I love for it's playbility. In my case I also have a Spiccato bow French bow maker Benoit Rolland. It's a very wonderful bow and is proberly my best bow. The other bow I have is Knoll Round Pernambuco Silver Mounted Violin Bow. It produces the same sound as my spicatto but is not as light. I use it when I want something heavier. |
| Posted By: JessieP Posted On: Jan 29 Views: 283 | Carbon bows Carbon bows are okay. I have wood and a carbon bow. The wood bow gives off better sound and the carbon does not give off so great. The wood bow isused for my upgrade instrument. the carbon bow is used for my school instrument. I prefer wood over the carbon bow! It is so much better! |
