Who made the difference

I'm with MMT - especially given that the Sunday rubber was played by Bob because of some heavy duty partying by Andy the night before. I don't begrudge him that celebration, but I really think that the win by Blake was the turning point. The Bryan brothers were pretty clearly the favorites and when Blake won, it meant that we only had to win one more and that was going to happen one way or the other.

MVP DC final

I think Andy gets the nod, not so much for his play in the final, but for his gutsy wins against Spain to get the team there. Not to mention his overall performance in Davis Cup - he's a closer that PMac has come to count on.

MVP

I would have to go with Andy’s match. JB may have won a more competitive and deciding match for US’s victory, but it is Andy’s win, which set up the position of the US team, and lift the players’ spirit.
