Non-US owners

Kena

I don't know.

Assuming there is enough interest to justify it I will consult with lawyers about this and find out the answer to your question.

I, and I know others, certainly want non-US persons to be able to participate.

Thanks to all who have voted and posted comments.

What about non-US customers?

Does this "project" stand also for non-US customers of HSR? Is it possible to be co-owner of an US co-op if not US citizen and not resident in the US?

I have been a long-time advocate of co-operatives and democratically-controlled companies. In fact, I plan on turning my television production company into a co-op in a few years when I have gathered enough customers and employed producers.

If HSR were to go co-op, I would definitely stay and migrate my other server needs over, as well.
