West Playoff Teams

Concerning Portland taking Denver's spot

well I just think denver's end of season and off season turmoil is why people are picking them not to make it even though they won 50 games last year. I still think portland going from 40 to 50 wins in the west will be tough but I don't think denver can win 50 wins next season after losing camby.

Dallas' chances

Dallas is also questionable but I think they really got nothing out of kidd at the end of the season and if they can get rid of josh howard for maybe josh smith or do some other things to make the offense more run and less iso they can win 50 too.

Out of the other 6 teams everyone picked the only one I have a concern about is Phoenix - hill nash and shaq will not be able to play 35+ mins a night no way - they will break down. Puts a lot of responsibility on amare , diaw, barbosa. I don't know how effective r.lopez will be or if he will even get PT and it seems they really need more shooters on the court. But I don't see anyone else in that division taking their spot - clippers haven't improved much and warriors took some steps sideways instead of forward as well.

Dallas

I think they (Dallas) have a better shot than Golden State, Denver, or the Clippers. Those will all be .500+ teams but I see them more lottery bound.
