Posted By: Kenny Posted On: Sep 26, 2008 Views: 1297 | Clubnight Format Reply to Eoin's query ... Depends on numbers - just use groups of 3 or play shorter matches. We can be flexible. Example: 2 groups of 3, followed by S/F and Final only requires 5 sessions, which can fit in. Players knocked out can still be involved by playing each other for position. Alternatively, it can be done in 4 sessions by omitting S/F and having play-offs for position: 1st in Group A v 1st in Group B 2nd in Group A v 2nd in Group B 3rd in Group A v 3rd in Group B |

The various formats could maybe be determined by who attends, if there were a lot of new young players there like last season the swiss ladder without goal difference would be best for example. I know there are some traditionals out there that would prefer the league format but due to players circumstances with family and work, really dont think this is an option anymore, for us anyway. |
