| Posted By: Joep Verkoelen Posted On: Feb 23, 2009 Views: 447 | Ajani Vengeant I should have voted for Jace, as I think it's a perfect example of a good card that requires skill to use correctly which is something I value a lot in cards. It's also in blue, which is my favourite color. However, over the last few months, Jace has been all over the place (Lorwyn, Jace vs. Chandra, Planeswalker novel promo, etc), which just means that I'm tired of seeing him. Tezzeret is a solid second, as I am a beginning vintage player, and he's custom made for that format. Not to mention that I got one on the shards prerelease, which made it possible to play obelisks without feeling bad about it. My choice, however, goes to Ajani Vengeant, as it's the only one that has been in decks for as long as I own the card (only owned Ajani Vengeant, Garruk, Sarkhan, Tezzeret and Nicol Bolas though), and I really liked what he did from the moment I first saw him spoiled. Who doesn't like pseudo-Oblivion Ring with the occasional Lightning Helix and one-sided Armageddon? I think it's just the coolest of the casual players' planeswalkers, well balanced, and not too expensive to obtain compared to some of the others. |

I like hot chicks too. ;) Last year I was compiling a list of songs for my own personal MtG compilation and I chose Paulina Rubio's "Fire Dance" as Chandra's theme song. You can play up to 30 seconds of it on your podcast without getting burned by lawyers. :) |
