Not because we do not agree that we have these things happening in Jamaica but it seem as if we are being targeted for a beating down.The more we do well internationally the more some people try to beat us down and highlight the worst of us. What is more alarming is that we as Jamaicans are being singled out in the Caribbean for bad treatment. i live in another island and the locals have a love hate relationship with us THEY LIKE EVERYTHING JAMAICAN EXCEPT JAMAICANS.One of their biggest product as a tourist destination is BRAND JAMAICA and BOB MARLEY. There is only one thing that is certain though and that is if we could get a good handle on crime in Jamaica people from within this region would be flocking the shores of Jamaica to get a piece of our cultural life. We are the cultural icon of the region. People trying to put a lick on BIG BAD JAMAICA cause to some extent they fear something. Our pride ant stature could be boosted a thousand folds had it not been for crime at all levels. Our full pride would bloom |
