Gmail exchange?

I understand the desire for better gmail support, but I'm not seeing the relation with Exchange / MAPI.

MfE is Lame and Awful

This is just stupid.

- Can't accept/reject calendar invites.
- No support for provisioning.
- No support for GAL.

Nokia wanted to compete with Apple's iPhone and Google's Android but missed the target by a long shot. Nokia's lame excuse is that the N900 is a "lifestyle" device, and the fully-functional MfE is for the E series, E for "enterprise". Well ok, but clearly Apple is winning because they don't make that ridiculous distinction. Same for Android. Do you think the HTC Magic (T-Mobile myTouch3G) is an enterprise phone? No? Me either, but it supports Exchange fully!

Sadly, at this rate, Maemo is going no where, and I've lost my love of Nokia. I'm going back to Android. Maybe Maemo 6 won't suck this bad, and that'll be the last time I try anything made by Nokia.
