We should come to meetings, actively engage our board on a regular basis, ask questions and ask to help. We should hold ourselves accountable as well as our executive board. We have meetings every second Monday of the month and I would love to see everybody come out and get involved. Lets go CWA!!!! |
| Posted By: carlene talyor Posted On: Mar 10, 2010 Views: 280 | How the Executive Boards can better serve I am a very proud member of CWA 3511 but I don't feel that I am a very informed member. Do we even have a CWA3511 newsletter? It would be very nice to know what is going on when it is going on. Take out recent labor negotiations for instance. So much of that 6 month order I felt in the dark most of the time. I find out after the negotiations are over that it was the tactics of the AT&T lobor committee that caused the negotiations to take that long. It would have been nice to know that during the negotiaions. I have not been attentding meetings so maybe that was voiced at a monthly meeting but if it was I think I would have heard that from somebody. Others members were as in th dark as I was, even ones that are union stewards. So this I would like to see change. |
