Posted By: Stevie Posted On: Apr 21, 2011 Views: 533 | auto generate is dead Auto generated teams didnt quite work last night did they? The Mince seemed too busy arguing with each other at times to get into the game and work as a team but the balance was wrong to begin with. i went for scott for motm as he provided good link up play and scored a number of turn and finish efforts that he specialises in. note to martie for ending his losing streak with a couple of cracking finishes of his own. |
Posted By: iain Posted On: Apr 21, 2011 Views: 517 | Martie I'm going to go for the Beastie this week. He got his first win of the season, he scored some good goals and I saw him tracking Kyle and Ross back at some points! Well played Martie! |
Posted By: Si Posted On: Apr 21, 2011 Views: 505 | painless I don't have the slightest ache in my legs and I think that's as a result of my dedication last night: not much. Terribly sorry chaps but some birthday celebrations hampered my brain and movement. Fighting an uphill battle from the beginning was never going to be easy. I thought we did well to get back to three but, like David Narey scoring against Brazil in 1982, that seemed to just irritrate the opposition and they upped us and d1cked us. Voted for Stuart in the end. |
Posted By: stu Posted On: Apr 21, 2011 Views: 484 | KYLE!!!!! not the best game unfortunately - our team had a better blend of player types and that proved to be the difference in the end. we played some lovely stuff and were always able to step up the level whenever the tatties threatened to get back into it. stevie had a good strong game, eeky defended superbly and big martie had his best game of the season but I’m giving scotty the nod for motm for some superb finishes and a good all round shift. |
Posted By: neil Posted On: Apr 21, 2011 Views: 461 | Blech Whites should have been better than they ended up being last night. Wasn't a great showing from any of us. By contrast the blues seemed to find it easy from the first minute and never looked in danger of letting it slip. Voted for Martie who looks like recovering his shooting form of five or six years ago. :d |
Posted By: Scott Posted On: Apr 23, 2011 Views: 423 | vibes.... The game seemed destined to be a bit of a damp squib from the outset. The teams looked a little skewed, there were some minor squabbles befor kick off, some big squabbles during it, and a sad scoreline to boot. That said, we tatties didn't click that well right through the game. The start saw the game sitting at 7-6 I'm sure. Kyle lashed a few into the net with increasing ferocity. Thought Martie looked quite spritely throughout. Went for Steve though as man of the match. His work rate was a notch higher than others in defence. He certainly made cover tackles for me several times. That helped snuff out many of the mince revivals which looked a little threatening. Then the castle walls crumbled. |

Posted By: Marty Posted On: Apr 26, 2011 Views: 386 | Well, I enjoyed it. Could have voted for any of my team but went for Scott, good all round play. Think Stu called it with the blend of players, just seemed to work. |
