oh god the heat...

i was dying last night. felt exausted after 10 mins.

scott again for me this week for 3 cracking finishes.

1 piledriver from distance. 1 volley into the corner and 1 turn and shoot special that left gary looking silly.

well played mate. you also looked like the only one who wasnt struggling in the heat.

My feet are friggin gaupin this morning - felt like i was running on broken glass for last 15 mins or so.

Good effort by everyone considering the heat - we seemed to be doing ok until we gifted 3 goals rapid and we then ran oout of ideas.

Vote for Scott for his energy and top finishes

My shirt was not dark!

Felt disappointed to loose last night as I walked off. At one point I think we were 2 up with 10 to play but we seemed to collapse like a deck of cards at the end. Scott was the stand out on the pitch and gets MOTM. I think if we had better movement off him then we might have gone on and nicked it, but in the end I guess we got found out. Cheers for all the guys who stepped in on an absolute scorcher of an evening.

Is anyone up for watching the Champions League Final? Messi v Scholes.

Like the real Gazza, but fit!

Tough shift indeed. I'm still pooped (yes, i did just say that) today. Good game considering everyone seemed to need 5 mins in goal quite often to recover. Voted for Gary. He was charging about quite the thing and certainly didn't look as if he hadn't played in months. Strong wee bugger too! His tenacity broke up our play in the last 15 mins especially. At that point we were done and struggled to switch to defensive mode and lost our marked players. Space to score, hey presto. As Iain said, think the 5 goal margin didn't quite reflect the whole match.

More exciting than a Royal wedding?

Controversial start, Stevie wearing darkish "light" top and Jono in a lightish "dark" top. Actually, not controversial in the least and didn't matter at all really in the grand scheme of things, but anyway, a good close game I thought up until a wee implosion by the Tatties to give us 3 or 4 goals on the bounce and then there was no looking back for us. The heads went down with not long left and we added a few more to give the scoreline a slightly flattering look. Voted for Gary, put in a really good shift battling away, well played to all though.

legs... won't... move....

That was a tough old shift. Can we throw some Busquets-style dives in the next games to give us a wee breather?

I voted for Gary because he ran about lots and didn't seem as tired as the rest of us.
