He or she still believes in order and the need to maintain order however occasionally it is fun to cause random acts of mayhem and destruction. It's my way or the highway kind of sums up this charecter's mind set |
| Posted By: Jos Posted On: Sep 20, 2008 Views: 2603 | LG To be good is to be lawful, otherwise how can a person be considered good if he breaks the law. Goodness requires justice, justice requires law; chaotic good is in fact an oxymoron. Now if a man made law is unjust, paladins (particularly) as being bound by the higher law of God, to work towards all laws being just. No good person can obey a law that requires them to do evil. But are bound to allow others to do the evil the law allows them too (as it is lawful) but must do all they can to frustrate the evil law and get in removed. An example is William Wilberforce and his battle against slavery. |
| Posted By: CNANYTHING Posted On: Oct 29, 2006 Views: 5066 | Best Alignment CN is the best. No rules to follow. You can just as easily save someone, or even convert some enemy mid battle, as kill someone standing in your way in an ally. CN is true freadom. No worries about good or evil. You do as you feel and care nothing for the laws of the land that change from place to place anyway. Imagine the pallidan that goes to a place were slavery is legal...what does he do? Nothing... and i have yet to see a dnd campain were someone starts a petition to ban slavery..most places are monarchies in dnd anyway and such activity would be illeagal! {no freadom of speach} CN= you also dont have to worry about getting found by a villian using detect good. or a zealouse palli using det evil. I have yet to see det nuetral on the spell list. |
