Usually, these are (predictably) not very good. Others give us different fates for the characters. These are the most interesting. Some just reveal a few bit more of some characters' history. How good that is depends on the characters. In general, I like the idea of alternate endings, especially those that make SENSE. (I must say, however, that FFX2's idea of giving you extra final scenes for doing all manner of irrational things -even winning minigames- really annoys me.) |

Even if they aren't very good, they still make us want to play the game more just so we can unlock all of its secrets. That way, games last longer and we get the most of our money. For tightwads like me, that is a VERY good thing. |
