"The Poll"

Well poo, I tried to vote for other things and got this:

You have already voted,
Your last vote was not added to the results

Darn.

Oh well, I did already put in my $.04 worth on what I'd like to see on the website. But I did want to try to vote again like you asked. :) Anyhoo, there you go. One person, one vote. Definitely not rigged, huh? *grin*

Hrm

If they don't like it when you start a sentence "When I was in Korea..", then there's a few things you can glean from their responses. 1) They don't give a damn about learning ANYTHING outside their own little snowglobe world; 2) They're jealous *GRIN*; 3) They're so insecure about their own lives that they're thinking you're trying to make them think you're better than they are because you've BEEN somewhere; 4) If it's your friends saying this, hrm, time to re-evaluate the friendship.
At any rate, it's their problem, not yours. At the very least, you'll be able to weed out the ones you won't care to talk to about anything important to you ever again. :)

(ooh, there's my BAD Gemini half coming out to put her $.02 worth in. *GRIN*)

Ideas...

Actually, Shelly, you *should* be able to vote for more than one answer. As they say, 'vote once, vote often'.

As for the NB History, that'd be swell. I think I will do that, maybe once I get some local photos built up... elsewise I could snag some archive ones which would be free of copyright.

As for the Korean culture, I don't know. I've been warned by other expats that nobody likes someone who goes around back home and starts every sentence with, "When I was in Korea..."
