lloyd brown

I have listened to Lloyd brown and followed his career for a number of years. As an artist he has developed and grown in style and performance and always has a song to soothe all occasions. I too am a new grandmother and enjoy the song Romeo- dedicated to his grandson which in my opinion could not be written without love. As they say who feels it knows it!!

peace & love

Music and Bad-Minded Babymothers

I, like Julie was impressed with the song Romeo dedicated to his grandson but felt a sense of badmindedness from her simply because of her not understanding the true concept in which it was written. For those who have the album i hope will understand. After numerous "listenings" It seemed to be a song of GUIDANCE,ADVICE,STRENGTH and COUNSEL to him ensuring his love for his grandson which lets face it he never had to write or sing that song to show those things. It is a gesture rarely heard by artists in which that alone I truly admire. From her remarks and the amount of viewings they sustained exposes her in a very negative light as a bitter grandmother and an even more bitter "baby-mother". whilst I'm not in favour of the term as a woman myself, the adage comes to mind: "If you don't have nothing good to say, say nothing. WHO GOD BLESS,NO MAN CURSE. You decide........

Mr Browns song about his grandson Romeo, truley was a lovely song, what a nice way to celebrate the birth of his 1st Grandson by his 1st daughter Stacey. I wonder whether a man that sings of love and has a reputation for this kind of music actully knows the meaning of the word!!!!
Maybe in the past few years he finally has come to terms with the fact that he can sing it but can't feel it. Myself I enjoy the real thing from the same grandson who I am passionately in love with, and hope that Lloyd enjoys singing about loving him as much as I actually get to feel the love on a daily basis. For those of you who enjoy the music as I do, stop, sit back and listen to the lyrics in the song, then ask yourself if he sounds like a convincing grandfather--- the answer is up to you
