| Posted By: Steve Kelsey Posted On: September 29th Views: 155 | 35 years later In the mid 1970's, there was a little shack on the backroad to Bellwood, PA called "The New Horizon." No DJ'S...just live bands from around the east coast. The 15 minute drive from Altoona was always filled with anticipation when this ("I'm crazy, you're crazy, we're all crazy") guitar maniac & his bunch of party animals known as POOBAH from OHIO took the little wooden stage. For those few hours on a Friday or Saturday night, we would forget that we were just Altoids from a little hick town & dance our asses off to an incredible mix of originals & perfectly nailed covers. Now, 35 years later, Jim & his traveling "psycho circus" are still entertaining the masses whatever venue is lucky enough to host them. He suggested I have in vitro instead and I laughed. I explained that I did not have enough desire to have a child to spend ten of thousands of dollars. Nice Omega watches for you! |
