I have never heard a band play the songs they play (from the 60's and early 70's) the eay this band plays them. I see this band playing all over the place! I think they are playing even at The Joint (where I have seen Keith Richards, Robert Plant, Waddy Wachtel play!) Maybe they are a little ok=lder than some of you other rockers, but to watch this band will give you an idea of what the mood and energy was like for us back in the 60's. Thanks O |

For the Stones, they'll throw in 'Sway' or from Bowie they'll do Hang Onto Yourself Hendrix, they'll do 'Red House' or 'Stone Free', The Beatles' 'Rain' or 'You Can't Do That'. So... yawn... they're not just KLOS... they are more than that. |

COVER BAND not nicest fake hair, or highest voice, or shiniest guitar, or longest-thickest c-cks or any other thing! The best 'Cover Band' is the one who is best at 'covering' other people's music. And giving us that 'feeling' we had when we first heard the originals...right? Dig this, YC covered the following artists at the last gig I was at: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, Buffalo Springfield, Status Quo, The Who, The Yardbirds, Pink Floyd, Joe Walsh, The James Gang, Free, Paul Revere & The Raiders, Deep Purple, David Bowie, The Knickerbockers, The Kinks, The Animals, Mott The Hoople, ELO and Steppenwolf. That's 21 bands! 21 altogether different sounds, groups, styles, musicians, singers!!! And they do it all so well... That's a tremendous range. And yes, believe me, EVERYBODY was dancing and singing moving and grooving. Chicks taking off articles of clothing, jumping up on stage... the whole carnage...just like it was back in the day, man! Seeing these guys play, hearing these great songs, partying and getting high with everybody, it's an experience, man! Like Woodstock or something... you just gotto go SEE THEM! I'm sure the other bands are really good at what they do, but Yesterday's Child is the ultimate COVER BAND. I think this is their web address: http://ycrocks.tripod.com.
