As an environmental specialist, I guess what I didn't know before about
plastics and can liners and such made me feel more secure. I now know
different. Plastics are far too volatile/leachable and I feel we need to
revert back to the tried and true, and yes typically more expensive, old
fashioned methods of packaging, e.g. paper, cardboard, glass, metal
(without plastic lining), and wood. Its better for us and the
environment. Get innovative people - I would like a choice on how to
send our products (not the food industry).
