Often people say that their week point is melodies. But that is only because Midnite does rarely plays familiar melodies. The more recent their stuff (and this is now their third most recent release) the more likely you are to find something that you've never heard before. This album is, as far I my standards go, the standard for conscious roots. |

I can't say I'm in love with the whole album but the lyrics keep me listening even when the music throws me. I reccomend to the open minded. |
Posted By: Jennifer Mills Posted On: Apr 13, 2005 Views: 3149 | Let Live How refreshing!! At a time when music played on the radio has become so predictable. Midnite's "Let Live" is a new experience. I would site it as a homage to roots, dub, and hip hop jazz. Midnite has blended these branches of music in a manner that I have never heard before. It is definatley a treat for the ears and excellent listen for those who are willing to try new things |
