The Planner

I'm stuck with the perfect place of planning our prom night out. woo-fricken-hoo. So that means I have to reserve/pay for all of the main costs of a group. Limo/party bus, food, etc. I gave myself a budget of $2,000. $150 an hour for 6 hours for the vehicle, $300 dress, $100 hair appointment, $90 manicure/pedicure, $50 shoes, $100 jewelry, $30 corsage for my date, $100 makeup, and the rest for any other costs/charges.

I feel like this is too much to spend on prom.
And no, I'm not spoiled, I've been working for the past two years and it's all coming out of my pocket.

Prom Cost

My name is Savanah and I'm from New Zealand. I'm 16 and it's my last year of high school next year. I've been to the last 4 proms at my school.
1st Prom - $900
2nd Prom - $952.50
3rd Prom - $878.75
4th Prom - $1492.42
(exact prices)
I know I spend a bit too much on something that only lasts a night but I love Proms and I want to look the best!
