The ones where you are up until 2am reflecting on all the things that you're done? The night where it's so cold the next day the schools are cancelled and you have absolutely nothing to do but stay up and think? Welcome to my evening. I know I should be in bed but I'm stuck in these thoughts of good times with great friends. In 1999 the first OWF even took place. The Tango. now, 20 years later in 2019 I know that I'm not the only one that carries fond memories. I know that not may people will read this over the years, but some might. Some of you might be bored, or facing down a late night yourself. My suggestion? Let the thoughts come slowly. Really try to remember the people, the faces. The sounds that were with you no matter what building the event took place in. Be it an old run down trailer, a converted work garage or your friendly neighborhood playground. We had fun. I had fun. I thank you for a life time of memories and the chance to live out a dream. It was never on the grandest stage, but it was our stage. Somehow that meant more. You all mean a lot to me to this day. I hope that we run into each other as brothers and sisters. The way people give a slight nod of recognition as if they were both there at some life changing event. And then a smile.
