| The War in Iraq!
Recently the President of Venezuela deeply criticized President Bush of
the U.S., and even called him the devil.
Frankly I can understand why he would do so. Our president and his
father have effectly painted a large bullseye on our country, all due to
economic interests. How is it that they feel they can justify
"marshalling" the world?! There is much greater oppression in Africa,
but they have nothing we want, so we leave them alone. In speaking to
Europeans and others on the internet, they all disfavor the American
way, and feel Americans are lazy and gluttonous. In fact, we have only
5% of the world's population, yet use 20% of the world's resources. How
critical can one really be of Mr. Chavez's comments? Do people in other
countries really feel all Americans are like our President? He is a
terrible blight on our image and our history in the making.
