Yea, they have the money, the flash cars and everything else, but mk and a are just people who want a normal life and not just a celebritie life all of the time. y cant they just go do the shoppin or even just go and buy a cd?! And anyway the pictures the pap take look awful, im not speaking of the person in them, but the angle and everything, plus its harrasmentId rather see mk and a in a photoshoot loooking all glammed up! |
| Posted By: Scott Posted On: Jul 3, 2006 Views: 1053 | Paparazzi Photographs I agree with Claire that pictures posted on celebrity fan sites that have been taken by paparazzi photographers are an invasion of privacy (not to mentionn that at least perhaps half of the shots were taken when the celeb is in an unacompromising or unflattering situation, or when the photogs stalk the stars or sneakily follow them on the grounds of their home--then we are talking about illegal harrassment and trespassing here), and I like to look at pictures of celebrities, too. Maybe I'll see what new fashions men and women are wearing, so I can follow the trend, as to the point Clair was getting to, I think. But what I do not agree with is the use of photographs that were obtained through unscrupulous means. I think it only motivates them more, and they will take even more pictures. (By the way, they are only doing it because tabloids and the media pay huge sums of money for them, because a majority of the public wants to feed into it. That's what keeps the cycle going.) There are plenty of decent photographs on this and other celeb sites (such as screen captures from their films and shows, and photoshoots (taken by a professional photographer) that we can enjoy that are tasteful, without having to resort to paparazzi shots. My point is, if we don't feed into it, the revenue that these companies receive will greatly decrease, and they won't have the money to pay these sleazy photogs, and the stars can rest a little easier. I have dreams myself of moving to L.A. to get discovered (as a writer), and if I am famous one day, I don't want someone with a camera zealously following me around--in the supermarket, or in my neighborhood. That is all I have to say. |
