Rate the Academic Year 2005/06
In 2005/06, we won Ashanti hockey and athletics, lost in the Ashanti Debate & volleyball finals, lost in the national football final by a lone goal and lost in the quarter final stage of the National Science Quiz. Furthermore, we set a record in the number of students admitted to any university's first-year class. 441 members of the Class of 2005 were admitted to KNUST's first year class. Also, 4 members of our football team were invited to the selection exercise of the National Under-17 team, an event that is still ongoing in Winneba. What is your assessment of our year? he's not Amanfoo

Don't take him serious, guys. he is not even an Amanfoo. The "former SP" has no link to Prempeh College. Edwin you were right for challenging him to give his name. This is somebody from a rival school who has found an opportunity to tease Prempeh because of the writings of our SP.

What a better way for him to insult Prempeh than pick on our student leader.

Use email

Edwin, don't mind this so called "former SP." He's just trying to "pull him down."

If he really intended to offer a constructive criticism, he would have sent it via EMAIL. I'm sure he has heard of EMAIL in his lifetime.

our new sp and his english

I posted a comment on this forum.

I was expecting a reply, but instead, my comment has been deleted.

I believe it is more prudent to work on ones criticisms than to ignore them.

Ignoring a problem won't alleviate it, one must consciously tackle it.

TRADITION SHOULD STILL GO ON

Tradition is almost gone out of prempeh, and that is bad. Beside everything things should be the same especially with seniorority concerns. Now you see form one boyz talking to seniors anyhow. That was not like during the past. Form ones were even scared to call a senior. And this enabled prgress. But now form ones could talk anyhow to anyone and go free. They are now going to town like form 3'ss. They do this b'cos the headmaster would send any senior home if found guilty. Well i would like the headmaster to reintroduce it again. During SADAM's regime he stated that form ones should be beaten because they shalln't die when they are beaten. But don't get me wrong. Reintroducing Tradition does not mean form ones should be treated down heartedly, all am saying is for seniors to have that kind of respect again. Thank you

Change the Headmaster

There is only one problem in prempeh college, and that's ODP. He has so much interest in cash and sports, neglecting the academic performance as well as discipline. No wonder we are now third on the league. As for Atia, he should continue following suit. Sooner will later, their end will come.

Good point, Fabulous

Senior Fabolous, your noise have not gone unnoticed. We will be picking up this issue of extra-classes fees soon and bring it to the attention of oldboys & stakeholders. The immediate-past headmaster banned extra classes at Sofoline and barred the masters from teaching any extra classes. Because of this policy, academic standards were very high and Prempeh boys benefited. But because this current headmaster allows it, it has created so much division and factionalism among the staff, as the various teachers antagonise and fight each other over students they want to recruit into the extra classes.

We have had this issue on our desk since for a while and we will soon write about it. Watch the WHATS NEW page for more.

reduce the inhuman treatment

i think prempeh college shd try as much as possible to reduce the inhuman treatment they give to the students. This is b'cos they won't offer such treatment to their children .This is such a disgrace to a whole colleg of ur type.treat everyone equally & stop charging unecessary school fees.

Work harder

I am very impressed with the happenings in Prempeh College.
No one doubts that Prempeh is a great school and produces commendable people.
However, I wish to encourage all students to work harder.

God rewards hard work with success.

I am very happy with the Headmaster for his promotion of "mining". He is promoting a culture of learning.

The performance was cool. The college is doing well but we need the support and coordination of all old students. With that we can reach the top and remain there.
