I was pleasantly surprised to see a woman in the role of Henry,
especially when she turned out to be actually talented. Ms. Monet's
excellent performance was only diminished by the uneven cast and
occasional awkward stage exits. And why no battle scenes with Harry? I
think seeing him/her fighting alongside his/her brothers would have
strengthened the portrayal/general performance.
The scene with Harry and Catherine was well-done; however, the kisses
were "grandmother" kisses, which perhaps be the only kind Catherine
would have permitted. The comedy in this scene was mostly lost on the
audience, which is to be expected, yet it was sweet funny as done.
Now, how is it I might find out if Ms. Monet is available for private
lessons?
