God isn't "out" of our schools either. just because we don't sanction time for christian prayer thus isolating students of other religions does not mean we discourage people from having faith. | Posted By: Mark Posted On: Apr 22, 2007 Views: 80348 | Reply Revelation wasn't written to be ignored; God says through the apostle John (the writer of Revelation) that Revelation was written so that specific people in the end times, through the power of the holy spirit, could read and understand what will be going on in the world. The first chapter of Revelation opens with: "Blessed is he who reads and understands the words of this prophecy, because the time is near." Revelation is the only book of the Bible that tells us that we are 'blessed' if we read it. Revelation can be a hard book to understand. If you have a hard time with it, I recommend commentary books, such as John McArthur's 'Commentary on Revelation Chapter 1 - 11'... and also 'Commentary on Revelation Chapter 12 - 22' even if you don't believe in the Bible, I'm sure you'll find these books interesting reading. |

Apparently, Hitler also had an interest in 'New Age' channeling. Hitler thought that if his regime could contact the 'spirit world', he could get technological secrets. Why would the Pres. of Iran want to be associated with anything 'Nazi'? Well, as far as he's concerned, he probably doesn't think he's 'New Age' channeling. He thinks he's in contact with the Imam holy to Islam. Of course the Bible states otherwise. There is no '12th and Holy Imam' in the Bible. There are only demons, who pretend to be 'gods'. That is stated in multiple places in the Bible. If God finds you 'worthy' (see Luke 21:33-36 and Chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation), you will be in the first rapture of Christians and completely escape the 'Great Tribulation'. No matter how you interpret today's times, it is all a part of the Antichrist's plan, it is through the Political corruption and the War generals, and the world Powers, through, the Terrorists, through the world Bank, through Globalization, through the European Union, and through Israel that the Antichrist will rule the World, everything that is happening in the world now, is suppose to happen, thus ushers in the reign of the Antichrist, and all the corrupted Powers of the world, bow and hand over Authority to the Beast and the Antichrist. Do not question, why these things happen, only know that the world is where Dad planned it to be, right now. And everything that is happening, whether Political, Global, or Natural, is all part of the plan of Dad, to usher in the Tribulation, and the Blessed Rapture that we have waited countless lifetimes for, to take us Home to be His Bride, Forever. |

Persia conquered ancient Babylon by strategy and it happened quickly; Babylon's army had no time to hit back. Daniel (God's servant in that time) knew and foretold what would happen, but the people were not living right and the governors were not well prepared (like the US now). Ancient Persia has become Iran.! and ancient Babylon has become the US.! God's servants (like Daniel) see the writing on the wall and are proclaiming it but... is anyone listening? |

It's just Jesus' way of describing how it would seem: One would be taken, and one left. There is not enough information to conclude that Jesus meant that the rapture would apply to half of the world's population. In fact, if you read other scripture, specifically chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation, it is quite clear that only a small percentage of people (obedient, faithful Christians) would be taken. |

Scholars say that John clearly referred to Emperor Nero in Revelations, and that '666' is understood as a reference to Nero based on the rules of the Jewish astrology and numerology of the time. Since then, the anti-Christ has been identified by each and every generation of faithful Christians and their leaders as a wide variety of kings, popes, crazy monks, and political leaders including Napoleon, Hitler, Saddam Hussein, the European Union, and the petroleum industry. Now the unspellable name of the president of Iran has been added to the list. The Bible is like a Rubic's Cube: shuffle the verses around with no regard to context and you can prove that W.C. Fields was the anti-Christ because he ordered six whiskeys on the sixth of June, which was the same day he bet $66 on the sixth race at Belmont and won $666. So far, Christians are batting .000 when it comes to picking the anti-Christ or the date that the trump will blow. In my opinion, Revelations refers to nothing except events of the first century. It was followed by 1900 years of minsinterpretation by sincere Christians whose imaginations got a little out of hand. If this poor world blows up, it will be us - not Jesus - that blows it up. And, it probably will blow up; at least that is my prediction. |

People are going to make guesses, and many in the past have been proven wrong. But that does not change the fact that the Anti-Christ is really going to appear on the world scene as prophecied in the Bible. Regarding making wild predictions that don't have any actual basis in scripture, people should not shuffle Bible verses around. The Bible isn't a 'choose your own adventure' kids book. You see, fundamentalist Christians (which is the majority of Christians) read the Bible literally. Meaning, what the Bible says is exactly what it means. To fundamentalist Christians, the Bible is the Word of God. It is how God wants us to understand his creation, from beginning to the end, which is eternal life in God's kingdom (or eternal hell, that depends on you). With this in mind, I encourage you to read the Bible, and take what it says *literally*. Don't try to 'crack the code' because there is no code to crack. If you read the Bible literally, I'm sure you will have an entirely new view of the Bible. I'm sure you will also take Bible prophecy much more seriously, and it will seem a lot more clear to you, knowing that *what it says is what it means*. |

So, in Conclusion, I believe that It is very near. I hope and I pray that I will be "accounted worthy". I love the Lord and would be heart broken if I were left behind. (I shudder at the thought.) The bible says in many places that if you really love me that you will obey all that i command. Jesus commanded that we go out and evangelize to all people and that includes ,family, friends, neighbors and strangers. Let me ask you a question when was the last time you did this one command? do you care enough whether family or friends go to heaven or hell? I wrote a book that i will give to you for the asking, it's about how together we can heal this nation. In the book are 40 Petitions that I want you to sign from feeding the hungry with the food the restaurants throw away to making the military become self supportive, allowing big business to advertise on the postage stamp lowering our taxes to ending welfare and much more then when I get enough petitions singed then I will go to Washington and make them do what you and I want them to do or they will loose their job |

When my son was 7 years old he told me about a dream he had regarding the rapture. In his dream he had been sleeping when he heard trumpets blowing, he got up and looked out the window to see the angels blowing the trumpets and Jesus standing in the clouds. He saw all the Christians who had died rise up to meet Jesus and then all the living Christians. He said "It was funny mom, cause I wasn't living with you when it happened." Hmmm! My son is now 34 and lives in Wisconsin, I live in Florida. We need to get ready and study for our finals. I believe it is going to happen soon. |

Her body was found 3 days later. The day after her funeral as we cleaned out her room we found 12 notes she had written, she folded and stapled them, then labeled them "A GIFT TO YOU FROM GOD" They were all about God's plan of salvation. They were not addressed to Mom or Dad, but to YOU! Which means everyone, even YOU who might read this. One of the notes says: it was from Romans 3:23, For all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD. Another one said: HEAR ARE FIVE THINGS GOD...WANTS YOU TO KNOW, KNOW TO KEEP GROWING IN GOD. 1. Get into the Bible and read what he has to say to you. 2. Talk to God daily, wherever you are. 3. Share the Good news with others. 4. Get involved with other people in a church where Jesus Christ is preached. 5. If you ask Jesus to take over....You Will Just Begin A New Life. 6. SMILE GOD LOVES YOU Another one?? OK! THE BIBLE SAYS.... For God So loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life John 3:16 Yet another: That which is born of the flesh is flesh, That which is born of the spirit is spirit John 3:6 Another one: THE BIBLE SAYS 1. Admit that you are a sinner 2. Be willing to turn away from sin 3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you 4. Ask God in prayer to enter and control your life. 5. So please read the Bible and the word of GOD! Remember these were written by a 9 year old child. Is it not evident there really is a GOD and he is our salvation?
