Retaining Wall

Has everything possible been done to fix the problem? Every homeowner could be required to raise their foundation four feet. The real question is has everything REASONABLE been done. Retaining walls might help (I'm not an engineer) but the cosmetic impact can't be overlooked. People might not want to come somewhere it floods all the time but would they come here if it looks like we live in a prison? There has to be a better way.

Flooding

Linda's got it right, the real problem is the people who get flooded over& over don't have any power! People who could actually do something live in nieghborhoods that don't get flooded. Now big businesses want to do something, about time because now your going to start loosing money. Only way to get something done is to hit them where it hurts

Flooding

NO ONE expects Findlay to be perfect..However, businesses and Homeowners have the right to expect presant and past legislature to do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to alleviate this problem..I understand that water retaining walls were not put in many years ago because of the negative impact it would have had on the cosmetic look over by Riverside Park and the FCC. Findlay will only be as powerful as its citizens in the community that are suffering! If you think this is not a negative ask ANYONE who is living this situation...not some one who is bone dry.
