| Posted By: me Posted On: Dec 29, 2003 Views: 561 | spider robinsons lament hard sf started to fail when the space station fell..up till then we really believed we'd maybe make it up there ourselves, now it's been pushed back to a dream for the grandchildren, if any survive. sf turned introspective, into fantasy, space opera, cyberpunk..all because the excitement drained away with the fall of the first step of the dream. It is, however, finally starting to recover.. |
