Was the career trajectory of the band Bush in any way harmed by the presidency of George W. Bush?
No way! They were on their way out by 2000 or so anyway.
Yes! There just wasn't enough cultural room for a hugely unsuccessful presidency AND a sexy British alt-rock band.
