Posted By: Aurora Posted On: Oct 3, 2004 Views: 433 | RE: Thats a tuff one. Alright, so let us assume time stops and you and 200 people survive. It is a sunny day. Time is in fact so frozen, that food does not even rot. Wow. Well, 1. The chances of these 200 other people being anywhere near you are very slim, thus you would lead a very lonely existence. You would not be able to communicate with them in any way ,b/c time has stopped. 2. If time were stopped in such a way that bacteria ceased to grow, and that weather patterns stopped, it would seem that molecules would be frozen. This would essentially mean that any food you eat, would not be digested as molecules are frozen. You would also not be able to use your car; the engine would not be able to process the gasoline. 3. If by some chance you were able to figure out where these other people lived, and if by some chance you were able to use your car, the weather being stopped on a sunny day would mean that the smog in your direct vicinity would build up to disgusting levels as there is no wind or rain to take anything away. 4. Lastly, what caused this? Did the other people disappear? If not, are there just random corpses lying around? Are the highways just filled with cars with dead people in them? Do the airplanes in the sky, fall out of the sky and crush your house? No, if time stops, I hope I am not one of the survivors |

Ok, if this fake time stopped world existed if you were a survivor and decided you couldnt handle it and killed your self would you become stopped in time?? Just stuck in your falling to the ground pose?(or w/e pose you assume wile commiting the suicide of your choice) |
Posted By: some guy Posted On: Oct 4, 2004 Views: 421 | Interesting theory on Dragonmaster posts You might notice that any given topic created by Dragonmaster has several replies attached to it. A lamen may believe that this is an indication of a thought provoking post and as such garners replies and/or comments. This is actually not the case. If you subtract the number of Dragonmaster's own replies to his very own topic, the number is in fact much less. If a topic created by Dragonmastr has 25 replies, it's safe to say that @ 18 of them are from Dragonmaster himself. That is all. |

Posted By: Aurora Posted On: Oct 4, 2004 Views: 409 | RE: Thats a tuff one. Better to do than what exactly? Than to come to Todds site? No, nothing better. To post on this board? Probably, but I still enjoy it on occasion. To come up with rebuttals to sill posts? I suppose, but its not like it take a lot of effort or time on my part. Most of the time, its just common sense, as was my previous post here. You would give yourself to much credit to imagine me contemplating my well-crafted response for hours before finally settling on a final draft to submit for posting. No, Im ok with how I have delegated my time throughout the day. But thank you for being concerned as to my time management. |

Posted By: dragonmaster Posted On: Oct 7, 2004 Views: 382 | RE: Thats a tuff one. ok, so it looks like nobody is posting in this thread now, so it seems like i'm safe to let some of my personal life out. I met a girl! Finaly someone thats perfect. She looks great and is uber smart. She's into cats to. We like mostly the same type of music and stuff. She's got very long hair which is kinda rare now, so thats even better. She's a Literary major so that could help me with my spelling. lol. I love to read also so all the better. little problem, I have no Idea how old she is, she talked about her little sister being 20, even though she only looks early 20ish. big problem, how do I do this?!?! She is great in every way, I've left little hints like giving her all of the tips that people give us at work, and telling her how great her hair is (she is one of those people with hair that looks like they spend hours on it, but it'd look just as good if she didn't), and talking about stuff she's into. she knows part of me is stuck in the Victorian age and is cool with it and all that. She even hints back. What do I do? I don't want to come right out and say that I REALY like her, it might freak her out. |
Posted By: Eloise Posted On: Oct 7, 2004 Views: 380 | RE: Thats a tuff one. Keep talking to her before you make a move. She's more likely to feel pressured if you want to just leap into a relationship. It's okay to have her know that you are attracted to her. I would think that you would want to get to know her before you jump on in. Just my two cents worth. |

Posted By: Eloise Posted On: Oct 8, 2004 Views: 370 | RE: Thats a tuff one. So, how's it going dragonmaster? is she still hinting at you? In what ways? |
Posted By: dragonmaster Posted On: Oct 9, 2004 Views: 367 | RE: Thats a tuff one. I havent worked with her in 2 days now. I cant wait until the weekend is over and i can go back to work. Mabie its just me, I get these good vibes off of her and stuff. She also has this "look" she gives me, like when we find out we are into the same video games, or books. Like I said, could be just me, I hope not. Apparently it's obvious though. Two of our coworkers have asked me about it. She dosent know that anybody thinks anything of it. Mabie the felings only on my side, I hope not. |
Posted By: Eloise Posted On: Oct 9, 2004 Views: 361 | RE: Thats a tuff one. I don't know. I would proceed with caution. For a few reasons. The first is that you are sensitive and easily hurt. be sure before you get your heart broken again. The second is that you're relying on third parties to interpret her actions. The third is that while you're away from the object of your affection, the actions that she may have had towards you get intentified as you internalise it and fantasize about her. What she may have been conveying becomes magnified as you imagine possibilities between you. I'm not coming down on you and saying that it is not possible or can't happen or anything. Just be sure that you're not reading too much into it, lest you get hurt again. That's all. $0.03 this time. :) |
