Fears-

What's your WORST fear?

My three main fears, worst to least, are:

1: Large cockroaches/palmetto bugs
2: Heights
3: worrying that something will happen to the other members of my family

-Kelly Crutcher

I see a rat, I think 'oh, how cute;' I see a snake, I slowly move away and give it its space. I *respect* snakes, I'm not afraid of them.

I'm sorry; I posted this message three times; can someone please delete the first two messages for me, I don't know how.

It's not swimming alone necessarily that scares me, it's swimming in the ocean with big dark sea patches under me that puts me in panic mode.... even if I'm swimming with another person... I just like swimming with all those other critters out there! YIKES!!

Ummm....Death, anyone?

I'm surprised nobody said anything about being afraid to die. Not to bum anyone out but I don't sit up nights worrying about spiders, swimming, or our stupid government (which seems incapable of anything complicated, let alone a huge conspiracy). Doesn't the whole mortality, ending existence, nothingness thing freak any of you out?

OK, me neither.

Just for the record, I'm afraid of needles, my cousin Fred, and ABBA.

Widths

It's not heights I have a problem with. Take me to the top floor of any building, Sears tower, Hancock, send me in a plane, whatever. But widths, that's the problem. Set me atop a television broadcast antenna and we have a problem.

But since widths wasn't an option, I went with the government. Hell, I fear "them" even more than widths. Can't trust 'em!

O.k. It wasn't on the list but oh man, Elevators!
They terrify me. You are like stuffed in a box and can't get out or breathe or anything! It's o.k. if like you can see out like the ones on the outside of a building though, cause then you know where you are going. I know, that's weird. But that's the way it is. Don't ever put me in an elevator, k?

Fear of the unknown future?

Actually, I am with Curious about the underwater brush. . .of a shark, of course. I know they somehow got into Lake Erie :)

Jaws affected me profoundly, as well. Whether it's the lake, pond or ocean--- just say No to strange brushes of mysterious origin. That and in the Exorcist where she scuttles across the ceiling like a spider. . . .ewww

Shark bumps, spiders and Dubya's regime. They spy on us searching, unemployed, government-watching people, yet do nothing to help us find work! God is watching them.

You better think twice about masses of informed unemployed voters. . .banding together! We have the time to research our candidates, support them, make sure we vote AND consider the joy of the $10/$20 jury duty checks! :)

Unexpected Summer Blessings to Everyone :o)

Bacteria...

Does having a fear of sharing dairy products count as a fear of bacteria? I can't share milk, yogurt, ice cream, cottage cheese ect. So sick!

Also, why does it have to "big" spiders or bugs, I hate (I know, strong word)them any size that they come.

None of the above...

I'd actually spent about 7 years getting over my fear of spiders, so that's no longer a factor. I really don't have any FEASABLE fears... my fears are rather rediculous.

-Commitment

and this one is the stupid one ^_^

-Bald men in wheelchairs weilding sniper rifles.

Fear of failure?

I chose swimming alone because I guess it came closest........ I completely freak out swimming in a pond, lake, ocean or whatever and I feel something brush against my leg........ especially if I don't have a friend right next to me.

I think the movie Jaws really affected me as a child. It's retarded to be afraid of a shark in a pond...... but I still get the heebie jeebies

Big Bugs

Big bugs are the hands down winner. I was on the fence between spiders and roaches. The Praying Mantis is another bug that freaks me out. I once had one I was brushing off the side of my house, land on my face. Freaked the livin' crap outa me. Between roaches, spiders, and the bug ugly people we should be afraid of, bugs are pullin' a full one third of all votes.

Bacteria's the worst. The other stuff (save ghosts) can be hidden from or run from. What can you do about something you can't see with the naked eye that can change forms so quickly? Eeew...just too creepy.
