They look like the kind of group that I like to be involved with. No sensationalism, just doing some good. I used to volunteer for 2 places like that, Homeless Pet Placement League and Second Chance Pets. It was very rewarding. I agree that torturing animals is horrific. People who do that should go to hell! However, any slaughtering of livestock or killing is generally done humanely. There are always some bad seeds, but for the most part the animals are treated fine. Eat meat guilt-free! By the way, I hate people who hunt for sport. I feel like if you eat the animal that's fine. I sat next to an arrogant a-hole on the way back from Alaska that bragged about killing a bear. He had to listen to an earfull from me all the way home! |
