RE: THE US GOVT

If you truly think about it, we aren't a true democracy... Sure, we vote in elections, but we elect people to represent us who claim they share the same values as us, but a lot of times, they really don't. The idea of a democracy would have the people voting for each issue, and if you think about it, sure, it would put a lot of government officials out of jobs, but hell- we need them out, and at least our voice would finally be heard. I'm tired of this "Left wing conspiracy" and "Right ring extremists" crap.

If Bush graduated from Yale and harvard, the top two schools in the counrty, and very high ranking places in the world, wouldn't you expect that he has some grasp of intelligence over the English language?

RE: THE US GOVT

Of course we're a republic, a democracy would be completely impractical. People just don't want to think that others make the decisions for us.

Also, I do not support communism because if you look at it historically, communism does not work very well and can easily lead to dictatorships.

Finally, I am against Bush, but ya'll need to remember that dialects do exist. Us southerners speak a little different, but when we speak the way we were taught, everyone else decides to mock us. Language changes with difference, so don't call us morons. I just speak this way because I live in an area made up mostly of Californians and Northerners.

RE: THE US GOVT

#1 - You are a moron

#2 - Bush can't speak properly because he is as sharp as a plastic knife, not because of dialect.

#3 - We like to think of ourselves as a free Republic but in reality our freedom is a myth. There isn't a single aspect of our life that government doesn't regulate in some form. "Of, by, and for the people" sounds great at a political rally but the daily mantra is "Of, by, and for the corporation"
