Escalades - all 3 versions -, all Hummers, Chevy anything (including non-Z06 Crapvettes, which guys buy typically to offset their own lack of performance), Ponticrap anything, SATURNS, Geos, those hideous new vans which they bill as SUVs, Saabs, yeah. PT Cruisers VW New Beetles and Phaetons HONDA ELEMENTS. 'nuff said. Stock minivans billed as if they're sports cars, as well as the people that drive them like that. (Mazda MPV excluded; that thing actually can haul) Toyota Echoes and Corollas. a pink anything Personally, I think the driver makes the car gay... like if I saw a guy in a Hawaiian shirt (or in fancy metrosexual stuff) blasting Queen out his stereo in a new Dodge Charger, yeah, then the Charger's gay too. But if I saw someone in a New Beetle that had given it a decent body kit, a decent spoiler, ripped the flower thing off the dashboard, and did an engine swap with, I dunno, an Audi TT and blown the bejeezus out of it, I wouldn't call it gay. ... unless it were pink. Ok, that's all I can think of right now. |

Oh, btw, PT Cruisers look like a station wagon that had been raped by a gay Beetle and had somehow gotten involved with a toilet before conception - which is why the hood and front end look EXACTLY like a toilet. Look! Go see for yourselves! Find a drag bar nearby and look if you can't find any. I'm sure that person who said Hummers were cool would know where a drag bar is. :) |

Anyone proud to drive a piece of **** car is totally gay. He'll be spending his life working in a gas station washing the urine off the walls. If cars were assigned based on the driver, dfbh would be given the weiner mobile, wouldn't you mr. sausage-lover. |

I haven't looked it up on any consumer report sites for any potential problems or anything but they get 30mpg and start at 23k. Sounds pretty good to me. Thoughts? Opinions? |

You can practically hose out the beach sand in those things. They get good gas mileage and are pretty reasonably priced, plus you get the reliability of it being a Honda...not to mention the resale value that you wouldn't get from a Ford. |

Well, I checked out the Elements and no matter what accessories you get for them, the damn things are just ugly. I realize that's a petty thing to worry about but I can't see spending that kind of cash on something I can't stand to look at. Those Toyota Takoma (sp?) trucks look nice but I don't see me needing a pickup too often. I'll just stick with Judy for now. Thanks for the advice though. |

I know, the Element is a funny looking vehicle, but to me they scream out "California" "Beach" "Surfer" "Fun" and stuff like that, and just seem like they would be a great Hawaiian vehicle. So, how much is gas in Hawaii? It is up to 2.39 here and we are always cheaper than everybody it seems. |

I think I'll check out the used rental vehicles and see what those are going for. Since american cars lose about $5000 as soon as you buy them, maybe I can get a 2005 escape for around 15k. That would be sweet. |
