well, at least you're good at something... how much do you sell those things for? can you make something finer? (like quarter inch loops or smaller)

RE: Crickets chirping

I've made a 6-1 Persian necklace (the one on the bottom) with gold wire wrapped around a 14 gauge wire. Used a magnifying glass, but I'm not making any more small stuff till I get my eyes fixed.

Small bag = $10
Large bag = $20
Necklace = $15
Keychain = $5
For custom work I add up wire cost and time. Up to $300 for a shirt

I can make four necklaces or bags a day, two large bags. It costs me less than $1 per necklace, but I have to buy wire in 100ft. lengths. I'd like to buy in bulk, but I haven't found a supplier. Online isn't an option when you look at shipping costs.

Wow! You made a nickel? I am so impressed!

Just kidding...actually that stuff is really cool. If you are going blind, isn't it hard to do that? It looks like really intricate work.

I didn't run off to Australia, but I have been busy with my moving plans and stuff...I get to move to Tulsa in one month!

You would think that...but actuly when you make everything in your life up, you can do pretty much anything. Right now I am making a large bag while hang gliding and posting here with my laptop.

Lol, it's to help show size. You wouldn't belive how many people think it's a quarter in that pic.

A magnifying glass is super helpfull. Each row is opposite the one before it, so touch helps a lot to.

I need a better cutter though, the ends are a bit rough. Like a mettal ban saw or something.

Anyway, just to clear something up, I'm not trying to sell this stuff here. I'll send one to OddTodd first. I'm sending him a dog proof bag.

"Like a mettal ban saw or something."

Instead of that, I would consider getting a metal band saw. It will work better.

James - I have come up with a brilliant idea for you to make money...ask those people that think your nickel is a quarter if you can give them 20 quarters for a five, and then give them 20 nickels...then you will easily be able to afford gas by making an extra four dollars!!!! Yay!
