NOTE: Lets not forget there was already one hell of a fervent fanbase for Gyllenhaal post cult fav Donnie Darko. Throw Brokeback into the mix and I cant say Im THAT surprised by these results. Of my own friends, few are fervently passionate about a specific MALE actor. But those that are- its mostly over Penn, Law or Gyllenhaal- and I must say that the diehard fanbase is easily the Gyllenhaalics- they are downright merciless. |

The enthusiasm of Jake's fans knows no bounds. If it's possible to vote more than once here, that may explain the "ballot stuffing." And maybe the other actors' fans are not that interested in supporting their fav. But WHERE is Leonardo DiCaprio? Catch Me If You Can, Gangs of New York, The Aviator? Come on, somebody goofed bigtime. If it weren't for Jake, Leo would be my choice. |

I could personally vote for any of Depp (always a fave of mine), McKellen (probably our finest working actor), Leung (simply great to watch in anything) or Law or Crowe (who objectively I know have been this decade's most consistently fine performers...why while I really really like both, neither are "favourites"). |
