Obviously,most of the judges are from Puerto Rico and Mr. Ponce was from puerto Rico..of course their heart belongs to Puerto Rico..This is the worse pageant I ever seen ..its just a waste of time seeing the "UNFAIRNESS" from the Miss U organizers.People are not happy with the result attention: Mr. Trump !!!!!!I hope this will nothappen again and please don't tolerate politics in your pageant it's a big NO,NO!!!!!! |

Miss Japan should be currently wearing the Miss universe crown 2006.I'm not trying to start anything, but i wouldn't be upset if participants and/or viewers decided to boycott this pagaent in the future, due to unfairness. Miss Puerto Rico looks like a "cute" drag queen and does not represent the beauty of a natural woman.....one who has inner and outer beauty. She looks anorexic. i also feel that trinidad and tobago should have made the top 5. she just looked too relaxed in her evening gown.They always say, it's the woman IN the evening gown, not the gown itself. Miss Puerto Rico wore the nicest gown in the top 10, followed by usa. however, USA SHOULD NOT have made the top 5!I still don't feel that tara deserved being crowned miss usa 2006! In the past miss universe competitions, ive never visualized any unfairness. but this years pagaent puts the icing on the cake! |

I realized the Favoritism they have had among all the Contestants. This Year Puerto Rico DO NOT DESERVEd The Crown..!! I was TOO OBVIOUS the Special Position She had among the others. Judges selected 4 Finalist Not mentioned as "Favorite" next to Zuleika, Thinking that in that way, It would be obvious to crown Zuleika, But Miss Japan, took everybodies' heart and she Deserveds the Crown.!! Having Mexico-Austrailia-Canada- I´d have been difficult to Crown Zuleika...!! Jajaja That the WORST MISS UNIVERSE I have Seen.! Also there is a partnership NBC-Telemundo, that place Maria Celeste (`PR) Carlos Ponce (PR) & Chelo (PR) In the Show..!! What else ?? It was a Waist of time, :(( Japan - Mexico Took everybodies heart. |

Maybe Miss U organizers think Asian girls are too intelligent for the position and have better things to do for the society than just being an ambassador of goodwill. Check-out qualifications of Miss Phils., Miss Japan, Miss Korea in the Miss U website. They are impressive and maybe have intimidated the judges. The Bb. Pilipinas organizers don't have to look in the future for the most beautiful girl with loads of outstanding qualities. Anyone can be Miss U by luck so anyone can be chosen at random from the population. Anyway, noone knows who the judges would like to win. |

I will not complain if its Israel or Lebanon. And Japan should be the WINNER based on the last round which is the interview portion. |

| Posted By: carmi Posted On: Jul 24, 2006 Views: 2155 | miss u 2006 i think the miss u has lost its glory and extravagance as compared with their pageants held during the 70s and 80s. the one recently held in the u.s.a. fall short of the viewers expectation in terms of the candidates production numbers. incidentally, i was watching ms. gloria diaz in rpn 9's pre-pageant segment. she was perfectly right in saying that miss u contest is 90% luck.look what happened to lia andrea ramos, in almost all the survey done in the internet, she was always in the top 5. and after yesterday's result, she was not even included in the top 20 (gosh!!! top 20 na nga wala pa siya!!!). miss photogenic? does that award carry any relevance at all?!!! if during the days of margie moran pa sana, one can be proud of that award. but with the internet voting, i don't think meron pang relevance ang miss photogenic award na yan!!!! |

Although, she didn't do well in question and answer portion, still she exibited a beautiful personality. I thought that it isn't fair that for only 1 question made her lose to Miss Puerto Rico. Miss Japan's ability to communicate in many languages is a good quality of an international beauty queen. I also liked Miss Switzerland because of her regal bearing but she seemed shy to be a Miss U. Miss USA is okay for her being spontaneous and natural. There were other contestants I think better than Miss Paraguay. I didn't expect Miss Puerto Rico because she seemed siff and lacked grace during the competition. That's my opinion. |

Di exciting Ms universe ngayon politika talaga.. ang daming pwedeng makapasok un pa. Ung ETHIOPIA parang di alam kung paano rarampa parang pinabili lang ng suka sa kanto. tatanga tanga. lahat ng top 5 may interpreter grabeeee si pagong lang ang wala natural usa un eh. And she wasn't good looking eneough. She didnt even answer the question properly. Puerto Rico on the other hand answered her question beautifully although most of her answer got lost in translation, but she could've made a wiser choice in her dress. regardless the fact that the network the host or the judges were either latinos or puerto ricans it is a no brainer that she was the best option. |
